October Fun!

Last week we worked on the letter S. Next week we will be doing the letter P. The children really enjoyed our Science lesson this week. From now on, I will be teaching 1-2 Science lessons a week. We will be exploring the 5 senses in greater detail. If you are looking for more ways to help your child at home, I suggest practicing oral counting 1-100.

Working with 10's frames.

We have been doing a lot of graphing. It involves sorting, counting and using a graph. We also are learning Math terms such more than, less than and equal.

We make time to enjoy the weather and play with our friends.

Graphing Skittles!

Making shape pumpkins.  We are practicing naming and drawing 2D shapes such as triangles, circles, squares, ovals, rectangles, diamonds/ rhombus, and hexagon.

Popcorn! We began our 5 Sense Unit by using our 5 senses to explore popcorn.

Working on our Science papers.

Sight Word Rings will be going home in your child's Reading Practice Packet very soon. Please help your child master these words. I have only attached the words that we have worked on so far. I will be adding more words as the year goes on. Thank you!
